Ruckus stuff

Just been going through Ruckus - watch a bit, stop, take notes, watch some more, take more notes - little bits of conversation, looks, time frame, etc. Then I got to the scene at the fair where Kyle gets "kidnapped" and I had to stop for a while. That whole section always gets to me, like major angst on *my* part; but then, I get that way with books or movies where people are put in situations where they no longer have any choice in what's happening to them - yeah, I know, that's basically *ALL* of Covenant  :p  Maybe that's why the chapters are so hard to write. 

Talked to my son a little while ago - he lives out in Marina del Rey and works in Beverly Hills, and takes the bus to work and back - and tonight he got into it with the bus driver for not picking him up at the first stop and he had to run to the next one. Anyway, long and short of it - the bus driver was this 200-pound, long pony-tailed guy with a dragon tatoo covering one arm - and my son maybe weighs 160 pounds soaking wet, so he knew enough when to finally shut up. He said, "What can I say - I'm your son."  Hmmm...

So...rambling a bit while I decide whether to continue with Ruckus or leave off for the night. I'm almost to the end, so maybe I'll turn back my angst meter and finish it up so I can start planning things out and start writing again. I'm anxious to write this part now, because I've seen so many places where what I've already written works right in with the Ruckus nuances. My biggest obstacle is how to sneak the others guys in there. So far I only have a couple of scenes for them, and I know I have to have more than that.  Although maybe not, because it is Face, after all, and the whole of Ruckus takes place over five days. The real Team part comes after Ruckus anyway. Oh, more to think about...

hey, but we knew what Jenny was thinking when he cleaned up and was wearing that red shirt, she was even telling herself off before he'd arrived, planning it all.

Glad I watched it again, for some reason I'd thought the Sheriff had allowed the Deputy to take things into his own hands, when actually all he was saying was, sit tight, and he'll be off before we have to deal with it. But oh no, that Deputy, too jealous for his own good...I hope you rescue Jenny from all this...she can't go marrying one of those slimeballs once Face is rescued by the team!!!!

Hmm. I'm still trying to figure that part out. I've been going in two different directions vis a vis their relationship. I know what Jenny wants, but...guess it depends on how AU I want to go and still blend it back into the show.

And, you know, it's funny about the deputy and those other guys - watching it so closely last night, it suddenly dawned on me - like BIG DUH - that they really were intending to kill him! Not just beat him up and chase him out. God, I can be so dense sometimes...like all the other times I watched it! :p Too busy watching Kyle, I think LOL

I suppose Jenny is going to be the *difficult* bit. Because (well through my eyes) there's an interest in there from Kyle too. He trusts her, and probably over time, he would fall for her. (He wouldn't have kept on going back, even for breakfast otherwise ;o)) And she's obviously taken by him (gosh who wouldn't be once you've seen him all scrubbed up lol!). ...Maybe she runs off and joins Leslie ;o)

Oh those guys really were going to harm him second time round. First time I think they wanted to just scare him off, but once they'd captured him from the fair, this was a very different ball game. I loved how he scared the crap out of them though!!! lol! I know what you mean...you can easily be distracted by Kyle ;-)

That trust thing - that's exactly what I honed in on for that "eating meat" breakfast thing - I'll expand on that idea in the story ;-)
