I've been trying and trying to get Hannibal to the villa, and he just is not cooperating. He just stands in the corner, smoking that damn cigar, calmly shaking his head, saying "That ain't me, lady."

I could kill him.

I think part of the problem is that I want to get back to the Saga of Face and DQ, and Hannibal's part, however necessary, is keeping me from it. Plus, I have to do his parts of these next two chapters right, or the rest of the story is going to sound so contrived, I won't want to post it any where.

This is the point where I find myself thinking I should never have started writing again. It's too hard, she whined.

oh, ok. I wasn't sure if Hannibal had an *address* that's why I asked about the car. He could spot it, and the owner, and go after them in Hannibal style to find Peck.

Well I think you do well sticking to the facts, and you have to sometimes look at your stories, like the episodes, things can come out of nowhere ;o) and if it's realistic enough, then we'll accept it.

A good episode for Hannibal reacting to Face is The Only Church In Town. On the plane he actually doesn't *deal* with him, and leaves Amy to do it.

Maybe Hannibal just needs to feel that Peck's a good kid, and wants him back on his team... We never see him as over emotional or anything like that. Just strong, and has this gut instinct oh and plans that go wrong ;o) Am I helping?

Oh, Billy! Thank you!! What do the team do best? Help the underdog. What were Hannibal's thoughts about Peck in the very first chapter? That first those officers and then Wrenn were planning something "dirty" against him. What was the reaction of the rest of the team? That he was trouble. Hannibal's thoughts - he never fit in.

Instant "underdog" - the good kid (as you say) who's fighting an uphill battle - Hannibal to the rescue (in several ways).

Perfect. Absolutely perfect! LOL

And yeah - Church is the epitome of Hannibal's dealing with the guys' personal problems. Definitely something to keep in the back of my mind when the two of them are interacting.

Thank you!

Oh yeah - much sooner. Now I know how to deal with Hannibal pre-DQ, and I pretty well had figured out his meeting with DQ, and the other parts.

NOW it's going to be fun again ;-)
