I still don't know where those lost weekends come from, I think I've never seen the article, it's the one at Blockbuster's I couldn't get at.

Sorry, rant over, but I'm really upset about her return. It's what DBL said on the DBC blog, members need to be blocked several times before they finally vanish. Arrggghhh!

Isn't DS lively today? I love it, it's been so long since some people actually met over there and got into a chat. I love this direct interaction, DBC is more like writing letters or emails...

Yeah, I like DBC because I can take my time responding, and they have neat discussions. But DS is more spontaneous - which, of course, gets me into trouble sometimes ;-)

I think that's exactly what it is - the discussions on DBC are nice, but my English isn't good enough to get into them, I can't explain properly what I mean and rather be quiet. It already takes me an hour to write my posts on the Holiday-thread! DS is easier for me to handle. Hopefully I'm at least learning a little from all these English forums :D

She's never going to learn. Unfortunately, she's one of those types of 'fans' who feels the world OWES her, Dirk OWES her.
She's a very mixed up person who's behaviour behind the scenes is basically stalkerish.

Online trolls are pesky things at best. The constant whining, maligning, and Dirk hating is one thing, and she has crossed the line more than once as we've all seen, but when that travels over in to real life, it becomes something totally different.
It gets SCARY. And that is what she has done. The constant stream of "endless" letters, bitching and complaining about fans, under various aliases, I do believe constitutes not only stalking, but mail fraud.
I am completely surprised she is not in the big house by now.

I'll never really understand her, such people are so far away from my nature and I just don't understand how someone can be like that. But I agree with you, she'll never learn because she won't understand that it's her who's wrong, not the rest of the world...

I've always wondered why the gallery lacked photos on DBC... but I think it's probably due to licensing etc. Technically we are not supposed to screencap (but we all do :D) and put on the net (If I'm reading that stuff that comes up on the dvd correctly). So I think that's why a "website" can't promote the screencaps... but if a poster does it... it kinda gets around it. Does that make sense?

We had a thread on the Shrine when it was celebrity big brother... so honestly you CAN start a Dirk thread :D

All this copyright stuff is a jungle, but I've thought the same things about screencapping occasionally. But so far I've never heard that someone got fined for it, so it's probably not okay, but tolerated. The gallery might be another thing, but I really don't know. Official law is sometimes very different from the personal feeling of rights and wrongs.

I think you've almost convinced me to start such a thread over there. It's true, some Dirk pics slipped into the Face thread on the Shrine, but they're not Face and not other roles, either, just plain Dirk. My Firefox probably looks like Billy's. Thank God for tabbed browsing (hope it's called that in English and you'll know what I mean. Exactly, same here. It's very rare that I bother to watch a film. Today's TV with all those talk shows and reality shows (gah!) is not for me. I rather read a good fanfic or fiddle with my picture editor to create wallpapers - or write.
