No, still haven't finished my chapter BUT I made a second stab at my bread and it's fantastic, if I do say so myself. So, will definitely be making that again. :D

As to the chapter - went through and did a slash and burn, basically. It just wasn't working, no matter what I tried, so...possibly going in a different direction than originally planned. I will be sooooo glad when this one is done and I can get back on track again. I've never gotten stuck this badly for this long on one friggin chapter before, and I don't like that feeling. :-(

Slash? Oh wait, that word has more than one meaning, sometimes I forget. ;-)

Good luck with it. I had the same feeling with editing Chapter 38 of Battle of Hollow Jimmy. Added a new scene, took it out again. Tried to salvage what was there. That wasn't working. Ended up rewriting everything except some of the dialogue. Boy, was I glad to put it behind me!

Exactly! Chapters like those - makes me wonder why I ever said I "enjoy" writing. :-( But fresh slate - hopefully a successful one.
