I just got a comment on The Children's Hour, which was surprising and very nice. But I did a quick check, and there's definitely been an upsurge in the reading of several of my other stories since Covenant came out. I'd noticed that with Neverness, because it seemed like every time C got close in numbers, it would push ahead a little ;-)  But it's nice, having some of the older stories get a bit of a revival that way.

Yay, nice when people go and look up your back catalogue. I've just had a nice email from a newbie to the group who says she's just got into the A-Team fandom and she's enjoying my stories, though so far she's only read Rescue and Mad Dogs and Englishmen, so I may be getting more comments from her about my older stories. She seems to like episode-like stories, so I'm going to suggest she tries Freaks next, as people have told me that's a lot like an episode.

I've got high hopes of her, she says " I've read a lot in this fandom with characterizations I didn't necessarily agree with just because it was all I could find..." So characterisation is important to her, which is always a good sign. She's posted a story on the group, so I'll be checking that out later. I had a very quick glance through and nobody appeared to be crying or rocking in a corner because the bad guy looked at them in a mean way. :D

Yeah Freaks is definitely very *canon* episode feel too it... just lacked Amy ;o)

No, it should have had her in it! I tried to give her a cameo on the last chapter, but then took it out. ::sigh:: If I was writing it over again, she'd be in it for sure.

hey, computer animated these days almost looks real... obviously you could use Dirk, Dwight and T for the voices and as you say, a GP impersonator.

If it's the gal I'm thinking of, I read her story, too and sent her comments off-list. I did like her story, and she's already very good herself at characterization. I hope she keeps writing. :-)

Hey it is nice when other stories get *noticed* and revisited. I've been getting some nice comments about A Beautiful Lie...I'm hoping it might make the reader go visit some other stories

Most likely will - you've pretty well cornered the market on *good* Amy stories, and coupling that with a good grasp of Face's character...can hardly lose that way :D
