I don't know how many people have watched this show (it's on the USA network over here) but it's about a "Company man" who is burned (fired) - his bank accounts disappear, along with his identity, etc. So he's stuck without income or means of gainful employment, and turns to being a PI of sorts, using his Company training to pull off all kinds of jobs for hire. It's done with a kind of acerbic humor and yet is serious as well. I enjoyed it for itself at first, but the more I watch it, the more bunnies for TAT fic it's generating (as well as ideas for just how the guys might do things). Very good show, highly recommend it. :D

I'll have to watch out for it showing up over here. Though I'm not sure a show where the hero's sidekick is a beautiful woman who happens to be ex-IRA would go down well here, so it might be tricky to sell. There's a very different attitude to the IRA here than in America.

The clips wouldn't play for me. :(

True re the IRA. Americans tend to have a love/hate relationship with them, depending on gullibility levels and personal politics. :-(

Too bad about the clips :-( Some sites I can play their stuff with no problem, and others they just sit there. The wonders of technology... Youtube does have a few clips though :D

hey - it's funny how some things, totally give you bunnies for the team. On hols, we took our rental dvd, which was Shooter. Shame it was to be watched on a portable tv, but all the same the movie was really good. It's about a SF sniper guy played by Mark Walberg (or whatever his name is). I know it's set present day, so his "gadgets" are more high tech, but it was about his survival tactics/skills that were great. ... I was like, where can I use this? :D It showed the level of ability a SF soldier would have, which sometimes I don't think the A-Team went far enough on.

Initially I thought it was going to be a remake of Commando/Arnie but it's a bit different. The beginning seemed obvious to me... but a good action film. And it may have given me an angle for the whole Stockwell idea :D

I know it's risky with Hollywood movies, but sometimes they just give some *bunnies* - I'm also an action movie junkie :D
