Talking over on Bevimoo's lj the other day about tattoos. I had never been able to decide quite what I'd like to have, but I think I've actually decided - now it's just the design to find/choose/create. But I want to use Capricorn, since it's actually about as accurate a description of me as one could get.
So far, I've found three that might work, although I'm not really fond of the third one:

Opinions? And like where I should put this thing? ;-)

I vote back. Also, if you ever regret getting it, you can't see it all the time. :D
I'm not a tattoo person. I can't even commit to a mobile phone contract, let alone a tattoo. And I'm a wuss for the pain part.

Date: 2008-05-08 06:40 am (UTC)yeah... I like them on some people and not on others. I'm a bit fussy when it comes to tattoos. And some just look awful and others look great. I wouldn't get one done myself... not brave enough, and it's *permanent*
I do have a mobile phone contract though :o)
Where to have it? wrist - does that get flabby ever? although I can imagine it being painful there.

Date: 2008-05-08 01:10 pm (UTC)Years ago I had figured I'd put a tattoo on my ankle, but like the wrist, it's a very painful place to put it - but then getting a tattoo is painful, period. :p But I'm thinking now either on my back, maybe between the nape of the neck and shoulder. Or maybe upper arm. But more likely the back.
Now, just have to decide when - and that's the biggee! LOL

Date: 2008-05-08 01:29 pm (UTC)The idea is that you can buy the design you like and print off all the outline info etc to give to your artist. But if nothing else it's just good for ideas and good info to know about before and after a tattoo. :)
Where? I love tattoos on the wrist, and I also think that the inner forearm is a better place for a woman to wear one than the upper arm (I think thats a bit more butch, but that may just be me!). Back of the neck is also a fab place. :) Very excited for you! Just remember to research your artist before you go. And you could always take a few images and ask your artist to come up with something unique for you, a good one will even prefer that. :)
Good luck! :D
