Stupid cable company (again)
May. 3rd, 2010 03:02 pmSo nothing yet from the Better Business Bureau on my complaint - but did get a statement from Mediacom (yes - MEDIACOM - remember that name and stay far away from it!) which was mailed on the 28th - yeah, the day they disconnected us WITHOUT NOTICE. It says I now owe them over $500 for the cable box I failed to return, and reminding me that I'm supposed to give them 7 days notice before disconnecting so they can arrange to pick it up.
What we have here is a failure to communicate... or total lack of brains on the part of MEDIACOM.
