Lost weekend...
Mar. 29th, 2008 05:22 pmWell, just got up a little while ago - worked a 12-hour shift last night, waiting on a call to see what time they want me in tonight. Could be anywhere from 8-12 hours. But then only one more night after that! Maybe work second shift on Monday (last day of the quarter). Then I'm free! And this weekend the overtime will pay almost half the expenses for the BSG cruise in September - if they haven't completed booked by the time my paycheck comes.
I've been having all kinds of ideas for upcoming scenes, but was really struggling with the opener - where Face is actually arrested. I think I've finally come up with a workable scene (amazing how hard it is to "work out" something so simple as "Face gets arrested") and made notes to myself so I can get back at it on Monday. Hurray for the return to leisure LOL
So between that and the spring cleaning, it ought to bring my energy levels back up to normal. It's so weird - living to a schedule (re work) is so hard for me. Saps me. But having the ability to decide when and for how long I work at something is like taking amphetamines.
