Just did a word count on the completed part of Covenant - 125,803 words. And maybe 75-80% completed. Getting to the juicy part now - where everyone finds out Kyle isn't Kyle.
Going around the yard with my brother earlier, seeing what cleanup needs to be done after the winter's crap. Have about three dozen small trees to cut down, gardens to rake out, brush to haul. We're going to start tilling up sections of the yard, filling in and leveling and then reseeding. My brother's even agreed to give up part of his flower garden so I can put in some tomatoes, peppers, onions, etc. Cool. :-) Tons of projects to work on this summer, including transforming my dad's old workshop into my new abode. Can't wait for that. Moving out of the five bedroom/2 bath house into a one room house. Just my size :D
Okay, back to writing. Cold, windy and raining now so perfect day to get in the mood for the chapter ;-)

Date: 2008-04-06 07:35 pm (UTC)I'm hoping the work outside will give me more energy to write, just a matter of scheduling it more properly now. Usually it's harder to drop the writing for a while...
