ostarellaSooo hoping to get to some *real* writing today, but it's looking dismal. Got home from work a couple hours ago - what hell that was. Got into yet another fight (I manage to do so at least once each time I go back). The shipping guy on second let a box go through without a pallet that was too heavy (69 pounds is the max, 70 and over has to have a pallet and banding). This was 73 lbs, and since it wasn't palletized, yours truly just gave it a heft to put it up on top of two other boxes. I thought for sure I'd ripped a muscle. So this guy has the gall to say he knew it was too heavy, but it wasn't his job to put on a pallet. Technically, he was right - but we're not supposed to let that stuff go by, either. Anyway, the more nonchalant he was, the madder I got, of course. (I really need to curb my temper, but anyway). He told my boss I called him an idiot. Which wasn't true. I called him a fucking idiot. And only after he turned his back on me, the twirp. At any rate - I WON!!!! He will get written up for a safety violation, and I walked around stiff the rest of the night.
Anyhoo - have to read through Billy's story so I know what's going on again - the memory goes as you get older, you know. ;-) And then I need to catch up on JFM's Nano story - I just caught bits and pieces as I filed it and I'm totally confused by the bits; the pieces were okay. ;-)
Oh, god, I don't know if I'm over-tired or just totally stressed. But onward and upward - stories to read, chapters to write, house to clean - which do you think will go by the wayside? LOL

leave the house to clean itself!!!! ;o) You've had a stressful day, definitely need to do the things you enjoy, rather than crappy housework! It can wait ;o) it'll only come around that you have to do it again!
