Pity party...
Jun. 2nd, 2010 05:18 pmOkay, maybe not that bad, but...
I got home from work this morning and I swear to God there wasn't one joint or muscle that wasn't screaming at me. My hip (which had felt almost normal yesterday) had stiffened up again; my knuckles were swollen and stiff and sore; my lower back felt like it was coiling worse than a snake; my knees were like rusty hinges; my left ankle would give out every few steps; and my right foot was swollen like a water balloon.
And we'd had an impossibly easy night at work!
Seriously, I don't understand why I'm having all these problems. It's not like I was totally inactive while unemployed. Yeah, all of these things bother me at various times - but not all at once! By the time I got the animals fed and had my first cup of coffee, I was done. I went to bed and slept for almost six hours, and now I'm ready to lay down again - I can get another 3 hours in before I have to get ready for work.
I'm just so tired of all these aches and pains - I can't do anything at the level I should be able to. And it's frustrating because at work, I don't want anyone thinking I'm a slacker; at home, there's just so much that is time sensitive as far as the gardens and lawn...
Argh...
