I'm being lazy, I know, but I can't remember which episode(s) specifically mentions the guys walking out of the jungle with the loot from the robbery and being arrested. Or if that was just a description I read in fanfic. Oy....

Zack the research bod at the paper says it to Amy:

These guys knocked over the Bank of Hanoi. Four days after the Vietnam war ended, they wandered out of the DMZ with a hundred million yen and got busted by the Army. Nobody knew anything about the mission. They claim they were under orders from some Colonel named Morrison. But Morrison took a round in one of the last shellings. His headquarters burned to the ground. No records of the mission were found. The Hanoi government was screaming bloody murder. The Pentagon was promising to court martial them... it was a big stink. Before the trial, they went over the wall and disappeared. That was ten years ago.

Oh, by the way, Yen? As in the currency of Japan? WTH? What, did they take a diverson to knock over the Bank of Tokyo too? No wonder it took them so long to get back.

Maybe the bank was holding some Yen and they got muddled up.

But you're right - a Goody clone. I still remember Dirk telling her he had three sons, their names and their *ages* - and then she asked which one was the youngest...
