ADOPTED!!!!!

I've found a home for Fang!!!!!

HAPPY!! HAPPY!! HAPPY!! HAPPY!! HAPPY!! HAPPY!!

Was chatting with a friend of mine up in Canada and she's going to take him! Soooooo happy! A good loving home for him! YES!!!!

So now, definitely work with him every day to get him really used to being handled, then start introducing the carryall - it's about 8 hours' drive - so he'll be comfortable in it... and then, if not before, I'm going up there the end of October for a con and I'll take him up then.

sigh...

Such a relief...

Yay! Aw, you'll miss him a lot by then. But it's good that it's a friend, so you know you can trust her to look after him properly.

Is is okay to just take him over the border? Heh, I'm used to the whole thing of animals having to be quarantined before they can be brought into the country, but I suppose animals just wander back and forth over the border there all the time by themselves, never mind in a car!

I emailed the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (which deals with importing animals, I guess) and they emailed me back, saying that all I *have* to have is a valid rabies vaccination certificate. I'll have to have my friend check with the local/provincial animal control people to see if they have additional requirements. But so far, no quarantine for cats or dogs. :D

hey - yay - too! Great news! And like JFM says, it's nice he's going to a friend actually.

Gosh I think you'll miss him once he's gone. And don't worry, we like hearing the news about little Fang. Its rather refreshing.

Yeah, I know I'll miss him - kinda nice having a sedate kitten laying on my lap instead of frenzied dogs jumping on me :p

Yeah when they start purring at you, you know they're happy ;-) They are slightly more relaxing creatures in that respect.

That's brilliant news! So pleased he's going to someone who you know, I know that would make feel a lot better. Good on ya Fang, you're a very lucky little pustafa. :)

Oh yeah - and this way I can bug the hell out of her for pictures every week... or every day... Every hour might be pushing things a bit...

Oh, good :)

(is that him in your icon? if so, he's a cutie)

Yeah, that's the little bugger in the icon :D

The more I see the pics the more I can't wait for Fang/Star/Max to get here :D
I've already scouted out scratching poles, kitty beds, and litter boxes. Not to mention the myriad of cat toys he's going to be inundated with when he gets here ( including my SHITzu! LOL ).

Can't wait for ya both to get here!!!! WEEEEEE!!!
The kids are getting excited :D :D :D
Me...I'm cool ( yeah right! LOL )

I can see this cat is going to be totally spoiled - and since he already thinks he's in charge... I think I feel sorry for your dog already! LOL
