Lost weekend...

Well, just got up a little while ago - worked a 12-hour shift last night, waiting on a call to see what time they want me in tonight. Could be anywhere from 8-12 hours. But then only one more night after that! Maybe work second shift on Monday (last day of the quarter). Then I'm free! And this weekend the overtime will pay almost half the expenses for the BSG cruise in September - if they haven't completed booked by the time my paycheck comes.

I've been having all kinds of ideas for upcoming scenes, but was really struggling with the opener - where Face is actually arrested. I think I've finally come up with a workable scene (amazing how hard it is to "work out" something so simple as "Face gets arrested") and made notes to myself so I can get back at it on Monday. Hurray for the return to leisure LOL

So between that and the spring cleaning, it ought to bring my energy levels back up to normal. It's so weird - living to a schedule (re work) is so hard for me. Saps me. But having the ability to decide when and for how long I work at something is like taking amphetamines.

So close to freedom now! The end of March at last. Is it just me, or does it feel like March has gone on for an inordinately long time? Five full weekends.

Can't wait for the next chapter there!

hey don't wish your life away! I was working out we'd lived in this house, longer than our last now, and it doesn't feel like it. Mainly because there is more work to be done in this house to get it how we want it but it's crazy - we've been here 6 years! I've been married 7 years... with my husband 12 years ;-O NOW I feel old.

NOW I feel old.

Wait until your son reminds you that he is, after all, *27* years old and perfectly capable of making his own choices ;-)

oh I know I'll get older...but it just scares the life out of me how quick life passes us by.

This month has dragged interminably. Between working and the weather - enough to send one off the deep end!

I actually did some writing last night at work (dead as the proverbial doornail again) and I think I've figured out how to get things started. Don't know if it was "divine intervention" or just the idea that soon my time would be my own again, but it seemed to just click. :D

Oh can't wait to see the next chapter! Even if it is Monday :o(

Monday might be a little early ;-) But if it flows the way it did last night, it shouldn't be too much longer. :D
