Burn Notice

I don't know how many people have watched this show (it's on the USA network over here) but it's about a "Company man" who is burned (fired) - his bank accounts disappear, along with his identity, etc. So he's stuck without income or means of gainful employment, and turns to being a PI of sorts, using his Company training to pull off all kinds of jobs for hire. It's done with a kind of acerbic humor and yet is serious as well. I enjoyed it for itself at first, but the more I watch it, the more bunnies for TAT fic it's generating (as well as ideas for just how the guys might do things). Very good show, highly recommend it. :D

Fiction Factor article

Latest article from Fiction Factor, one of the stronger articles I've read:

Does Your Novel Have a Pulse? by Holly Lisle

http://www.fictionfactor.com/guests/pulse.html

There are things mentioned in this that might seem hard - or even needless - in fanfic, but then again, part of the enjoyment of fanfic is "fleshing out" the characters, so I think this would still be appropriate (and it "vindicates" certain actions JFM portrayed in "Cabin Fever", damn it :D)
