I know you're new, and excited to be in a new community but please - don't go responding to every discussion on the site. Especially the ones that died and went to heaven several months before you joined. Especially those that are asking for help or advice, since the problem has no doubt been solved long, long, long ago.

The old internet protocol of "lurk for a while before jumping in with your size 12 boots on" still holds good. Wish more people would do it.

Sometimes I wish there were an easy, automatic way of locking discussions that are more than a month old. Sure would save a lot of wasted time reading discussions only to discover they have cobwebs all over them...
