I am going to bed - almost 3 hours ahead of schedule but I am exhausted! Stupid managers decided to wax aisle 3 again last night, so had scheduled 5 of us to get it stocked by midnight. Then - and god only knows where this logic came in - they decided to wax all 3 frozen food aisles - and took away 3 of those people! They were nice, though - they gave us until 1:00 to have it all done. So Omar and I were running around like chickens with our heads cut off, trying to get it all done and then, about 12:30 - guess what? They decided not to wax any of it.

So I'm going to bed, hoping the wind through the window will keep me cool among the three furry friends that insist on sleeping with me.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LA CROSSE HAS ISSUED A HEAT ADVISORY... WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 7 PM CDT THIS EVENING.

* TEMPERATURES WILL WARM TO NEAR THE 90 DEGREE MARK THIS AFTERNOON. DEW POINT TEMPERATURES WILL CLIMB INTO THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 70S. THIS COMBINATION WILL RESULT IN A HEAT INDEX BETWEEN 100 AND 105 THIS AFTERNOON.

So yeah, sitting still you get clammy damp...

Night off tomorrow!!!!! Gawd, how I look forward to those... Lots of work to get done, too.
