Back to 'normal', whatever that is...

My son and brother left about an hour ago for the airport.

The house seems very, very empty now.

And it's cold, and rainy, and matches my mood perfectly.

I have to work tonight, and then again Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Just adds to my general feeling of wanting to go to bed and stay there. For a long, long time.

Motherhood isn't fair. You have your kids for 18 years and then suddenly you're supposed to let go and find a new life.

Not fair at all...
