One of those days...

I don't know where my day has gone, but here it is almost 4 and I haven't even gotten a full page written for Covenant. I think I'm having trouble getting motivated, because it seems like I'm just adding details to Hannibal's narrative from the trial.  :-(  Which, actually, maybe isn't such a bad thing. It's what happens after the robbery goes sour that's important.

One of our cable stations has started a new show called "The Real Hustle", with "professional" con artists pulling scams and then showing how not to get taken. I watched part of the first ep and it was okay, but what caught me was one of the promos for it - "They lie, they cheat, they steal - and then they get caught!" I laughed when I heard that  :D  Funny how many TAT things pop up in everyday stuff. Maybe it's all the TAT 'children' growing up and getting into the Biz.  ;-)

It's amazing how much the show is still referenced, whether explicitly or sneakily.

I've caught The Real Hustle now and again. It certainly makes you mistrust people. :D But Hustle itself is more fun and has sexier people in it. :D I'm still praying they get Dirk on it one day! One day the scheduling will work out!

Happened again! Maybe this is the original - in Brigadoon, there's a bar scene and a guys is saying "I lie, I cheat, I steal, but I won't (something)..." I was just kinda half-listening to it and that just popped out at me. :D
